Darian Vance: Senior Mitchell High

I absolutely love taking portraits of this girl.  She has been so welcoming to all of the ideas we have thrown her way,  and as you can tell she can pull off just about any type of theme.  By looking at the pictures you would not think this was somewhere near Mitchell County which makes them even more wonderful.  I love when I take pictures and the surroundings look like I have been to a place far away :) I want to thank my good friends Brittany & Nick Miller for letting me use their bamboo forest.  I have passed by this dreamy oasis quite a few times and have been dying to try it out.  Darian was the perfect beauty for the job :)
I am normally a color type girl but I just could NOT decide between b&w and color for these pictures, so I added them all. :)

Marie & Jas

Marie & Jas are one of those amazing couples that we are honored to know!  We had so much fun getting to know them both and being able to be a part of their wedding.  It doesn't take long to see the love that Marie & Jas have not only for each other, but for all the people in their lives.  We wish you all the happiness in the world!  Here is just a little preview for you :)

A Year in Review: 2011

This year was a huge one for Dewberry Photography & Design as we got a new name, a new studio and wonderful new clients!  A big thank you to all of you for making this year so amazing for us.  We look forward to 2012 and have some exciting new changes coming your way, so be on the lookout!  Just a few from 2011...the ones still on my computer :)

SANTA!!!!!

I love this time of year!  Lights, trees, mistletoe, FOOD, stockings, warm apple cider, carolers, community, the joy of the season and the birthday it celebrates.  Every year I look forward to this weekend because...Santa is coming to Spruce Pine, Foxfire Restaurant (to be specific).  For the past several years I have had the honor of capturing the expressions on the children's faces as they get to spend some time with Santa.  It has become a special Christmas tradition for me as well as some of you.   This year we are trying something a little different.  For just $15, you will receive a disk with all of your images (in just a few minutes) and our blessing to print them wherever you wish.  Hope to see you all at Foxfire tomorrow (Saturday, November 26) from 2-5.  Let's have an amazing start to the Holiday Season!
